Busy railway station in Kyiv, you can find trains for long distance, they also have lockers to keep your valuable things.
It is quite good but sometimes overcrowded. Recently, some new cafes opened, so I could buy good coffee before departure. But be careful with your bag, especially on the southern part. It may happen that somebody wants to steal your wallet.
Good place only if you going anywhere without luggage
They don't even have elevators. If you have heavy luggage, you have to get them all the way up the stairs while a huge crowd is going down the stairs. They don't have separate stairs for going up and down!
Kiev railway station is the place where most of the inhabitants of Ukraine come when they go to the capital. As for me, the station does not look bad, but the problem is that a lot of homeless people are concentrated around the station who often donate money, which is somewhat annoying, and you also need to be careful with things because gangs of robbers are operating at the station. It is because of the people who are concentrated here that the station is not a desirable place.

Central railway station with all common services you need. You can also travel from there to the Boryspil airport. Be aware of pickpockets inside and around the station.
