There are many kinds of food you can choose here, main dishes, desserts, drinks and raw ingredients. My favorites and recommendations are Grilled Pork with Sticky Rice, Salad Rolls, Thai Salad (Yum in Thai), Rice Soup with Fish, Cooked to orders. Those foods are delicious and price is reasonable. This market is crowded about 5PM - 6PM. If you come with a group, you can share many dishes from many stores or booths there.

A great place to find fresh food. There are some vendors that even sell live fishes. It's located just at the river banks of Chao Praya. If you're looking for some great deals, this is a place to be. There are also several food stalls around the market that offer more than just good food. It offers authentic Thai dishes that you can buy off of pots that are still sitting on a stove. So, it's guaranteed freshly cooked. There are some street foods that are sold here such as chicken and pork bbq. You have so many options that you'll find it hard to choose what you want for dinner. Also, there are stores that sell dry goods such as textiles, plastic wares, glasswares, and household products. It may not look as big as other markets but the place is filled with people even in the early hours of the morning. It's because you'll likely find freshly caught fish around those times. They offer freshness at it's finest. Here, you can also buy the famous edible giant water bug of Thailand. It looks more like a cockroach but they're actually aquatic bugs. I haven't bought one, so I couldn't tell you how it tastes like. And the one thing that this market has is beauty products. There are tons and tons of beauty products here. A lot of ladies come here to buy their favorite beauty products such as lotion, cream, powder, makeup, slimming teas, slimming coffees, Vit. C supplements, gluta-soap, gluta-supplements. This market has it and the deals are cheap. For instance, a famous face powder is sold around 35 TBH in supermarkets and convenience stores. Here, you can buy it for 6 TBH less. Or if you're good at negotiating, maybe even lesser that 29 TBH. So, if you're from the area, come visit Pathum Thani Food Market.

Not bad, but not a reason to start a journey. There is one, for me , important reason to visit that area: opposite ,in the second road to the main road (90• angle from the market road) are 2 or 3 thaimassage shops . 1 hour 120 Baht. I don't know cheaper places around bkk. And PT.
