The staff are always very helpful and friendly, no complaints! There's only two counters so you might have to wait for a minute to be served. The ATM outside the store now lets you pay money in. All in all, this is a great little branch - the only bank left in Olney! That is, when you can make it there before closing time - being open only 9:30-4 on weekdays, it just doesn't seem to be open at any convenient times for regular working people - you'll always have to take a day off or go elsewhere. I am however, grateful that there is still one bank left in Olney, and I make an effort to go here in an effort to keep it here - it's convenient not to have to go into one of the larger surrounding towns (MK, Bedford, Northampton etc).

The 5 stars are for Nationwide not giving up in this rural location, even if it is only open 4 days a week. But 1 star for the following missed opportunity. Perhaps its just my crazy way of thinking but recently there have been 2 occasions Nationwide could have gone on a customer hunting expedition. Firstly NatWest closing down and more recently Barclays being demolished. I am sure there are unhappy customers of both of these banks in Olney and surrounding villages. And finally in this day and age should Nationwide really be closed on a Wednesday and a Saturday!!! Really!! Perhaps building society's and banks are simply making too much profit to bother with customers these days. Amen.
